About Design

Rei is inspired by the early tactical folders of the 1990s, a period when functionality, usability, and work comfort were foundational. It emphasizes functionality, ensuring that the grip provides both work comfort and, most importantly, safety during cuts and pushes. For opening the knife, users can choose to use either a thumb stub or a flipper. The goal was to create a fully tactical folder suitable for both service and utility, combining classic tactical folder aesthetics with modern materials.

About Designer

Greg Wegrzycki, known as Karambitmaker in the knife community, is a long-time martial arts practitioner, knife collector, and skilled knife maker. His primary passion lies in crafting karambit and curved blade knives, although he occasionally ventures into creating more utilitarian projects.

*Versatile Modified Spear Point Blade
-The knife features a modified spear point blade, crafted from 14C28N steel, which enhances both durability and edge retention. This design offers a fine pointy tip for precision cutting while providing strength for a variety of tasks. The spear point shape allows for versatile use, making it effective for piercing, slicing, and detailed cutting tasks.

*Comfortable and Ergonomic Design 
-The handle is made of Micarta, featuring a textured surface that enhances grip. The lock bar access on the display side is designed with a height difference compared to the rear handle side, allowing for easier access to the lock bar for quick disengagement of the knife. The handle's smooth lines conform comfortably to the palm, providing an ergonomic feel.

*Multiple forms of deployment
-The Rei pocket knife offers multiple opening methods, featuring both a standard flipper and dual thumb studs for versatile deployment. With caged ceramic ball bearings, the action is incredibly smooth and responsive, ensuring effortless opening every time.

*Reversible Deep Carry Pocket Clip 
The deep carry pocket clip allows the knife to sit low in the pocket, providing discreet and secure carry while ensuring quick accessibility whenever needed.The pocket clip is also reversible, allowing for versatile positioning and enabling users to customize their carry preference for either left or right-handed use.
